We believe Christian education should be designed for spiritual formation and growth: being conformed to the image of Christ by the gracious working of God's spirit for the transformation of the world. Southlawn UMC offers a variety of studies that are on-going throughout the year.
Adult Church School
Our purpose is to reach people for Christ, teach God’s Word, and minister to the needs of our members and others. It is a time to study scripture and apply it to our daily lives. Members interact through reading, asking questions, discussing, analyzing and understanding the Word of God. We follow the International Sunday School Lessons. All are welcome to join.
Our mission is connecting with each other and growing closer to God through Bible study. We continuously are learning how to apply our faith when dealing with life's challenges and opportunities. Our format varies from Bible study, to guest speakers to multimedia studies. The group is focused on study, service and being a community of friends.
